Reporting results and write ups

May we remind everyone, players, parents and club officials that we DO NOT encourage the publication of actual results whereby a team has won by more than 6 goals. This is purely for the development of the teams involved and whilst we understand the pleasure in celebrating such wins in print, we do recognise the impact this may have on the opposition for future games.

Whilst we have no influence, nor do we wish to seek any, over the way in which clubs report results etc on their own websites, we would ask that you refrain from using such large media methods as the Chronicle and the local free press to give true scorelines. We suggest it may be more appropriate to simply name your scorers and give an objective overview of the game. By the way it would be appreciated if you could mention which league you actually play in!
